Organization Setup

The Elairo Organization Setup section allows administrators to configure global settings for your company's instance, including branding, domain settings, and feature toggles. Proper configuration ensures Elairo reflects your organization's identity and operates according to your specific needs.

To access Organization Setup, navigate to Settings in the main navigation menu and select Organization Setup.

General Settings

This section covers fundamental information about your organization within Elairo.

Organization Name & Information

Under this tab, you can define your organization's core details.

  • Organization Name: This is the primary name that will appear throughout your Elairo instance, including reports and notifications.

    • Tip: Use your company's official full name for clarity.

  • Organization ID: A unique identifier for your organization within Elairo. This is automatically generated and cannot be changed.

  • Address: Your organization's physical address. This information can be useful for internal records.

  • Website: Your organization's official website URL.

Branding

Tailor Elairo's look and feel to match your company's brand identity.

  • Logo Upload: Upload your company logo. This logo will appear in various places, such as the top navigation bar, login screen, and reports.

    • Best Practice: Use a high-resolution PNG or JPG image with a transparent background if possible. Recommended dimensions are usually provided within the upload interface.

  • Primary Color: Select a primary color that aligns with your brand. This color will be used for buttons, highlights, and other key UI elements. You can typically choose from a color picker or enter a hexadecimal color code.

  • Favicon: Upload a small icon that appears in the browser tab when Elairo is open.

    • Tip: Use a square image, typically less than 32x32 pixels, for best results.

Domain Settings

Configure how users access your Elairo instance.

  • Custom Domain: If you wish to use a custom domain (e.g., performance.yourcompany.com) instead of the default Elairo subdomain (e.g., yourcompany.elairo.com), you can configure it here.

    • Steps for Custom Domain Setup:

      1. Enter your desired custom domain.

      2. Elairo will provide CNAME record details.

      3. Access your domain registrar's DNS settings and create a CNAME record pointing to the provided Elairo domain.

      4. Once the DNS changes have propagated (this can take up to 24-48 hours), you will be able to access Elairo via your custom domain.

    • Note: Custom domain setup often requires coordination with your IT department.

  • Default Landing Page (Coming Soon): This setting will allow you to define the default page users land on after logging in, such as the Task Board or Dashboards.

Feature Toggles

Feature toggles allow you to enable or disable specific modules and functionalities within Elairo based on your organization's needs. This helps simplify the interface for your users and ensures they only see relevant tools.

  • OKR Management: Toggle on/off the entire OKR module. If disabled, users will not see OKR-related navigation or features.

  • Task Management: Enable or disable the Task Board, Sprints & Backlogs, and related task functionalities.

  • Performance Management: Control access to modules like 360 Evaluations, Performance Reviews, and Development Plans.

  • Meetings Module: Enable or disable the ability to create meetings and manage agendas and action items.

  • KPI Tracking: Toggle on/off the KPI module for tracking key performance indicators.

  • User Provisioning (Coming Soon): Controls advanced user management features.

How to Use Feature Toggles:

  1. Locate the desired feature in the list.

  2. Click the toggle switch next to the feature name to enable or disable it.

  3. Changes are typically applied immediately or after a short refresh.

Tips for Best Usage:

  • Start Simple: If you're new to Elairo, consider disabling modules you don't plan to use immediately. You can enable them later as your team becomes more familiar with the platform and your processes evolve.

  • Phased Rollout: For larger organizations, use feature toggles to roll out new functionalities in stages to specific teams before making them available company-wide.

  • Reduce Clutter: Disabling unused features helps reduce visual clutter and makes the Elairo interface more intuitive for your users, improving adoption.

By carefully configuring your organization's settings, branding, and feature toggles, you can ensure Elairo perfectly aligns with your company's operational requirements and brand identity, providing a streamlined and effective experience for all users.
